Black tree calligraphy #2 uses nature’s language to describe incomprehensible concepts and therefore creates an understanding of unfathomable circumstances. By placing text above the artwork, the artist seeks to produce a liminal separation between what is a cognisant truth, what is recollected and what is felt.
