In Far North Queensland, the world of books and visual arts met in a cross-venue exhibition event in celebration of 2014 International Women’s Day. Of Sense & Sensibilities followed the literary thread with artists reflecting upon their outside influences, with a book from each artist’s personal collection accompanying their major work in the exhibition. BOOKED featured artist’s books and text-based works,  reflecting the delicate qualities of paper and break away from the traditional format of the artist book. Exploring both text and sculptural form within this diverse exhibition. the show featured local artists accompany artist from Australia, the UK and USA.
